The Milagro Foundation continues to serve underrepresented, underserved and under supported children around the world in the areas of health, education and art, by researching and choosing the foundations and agencies we fund.
After ten years of funding more than 325 non-profit agencies working with children and youth in 35 states and 33 countries, and granting over $3,000,000.00 to these organizations, the Board of Directors of the Milagro Foundation voted to repurpose our vision two years ago. Milagro no longer accepts unsolicited grant requests but does continue to fund some agencies supported in the past, as well as new agencies we find that are making a difference and have a long-term impact on the lives of children.
Netgain, Malawi
Over the past few years, the Milagro Foundation has responded to the worlds natural disasters affecting children and their families. Donations to Americas 2nd Harvest, the Childrens Defense Fund and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children helped support families during and after the New Orleans disaster. More recently, Milagro gave funds to the American Red Cross in China to help victims of the earthquake and Doctors Without Borders and Save the Children for support for the cyclone victims in Myanmar. Milagro donations of support for these disaster victims totaled nearly $200,000.
With joy and a sense of purpose, we have re-dedicated Milagro to sing new songs of healing through the continued generosity of donations from the Santana Band, fans and friends. Milagro's funding continues to expand the impact of its programs to encourage others to take action to heal our world.
