25 Years for Performing Stars of Marin!

Twenty five years ago Felicia Gaston started a grass roots organization, Performing Stars of Marin. Located in Marin City, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge is where the organization thrives today.

The organization's goal is to transform the lives of low-income, primarily multicultural, children throughout Marin County by using enrichment programs to build pride, character, discipline and self-esteem. This youth program helps youth develop good work habits and positive social skills, enhance academic performance and professional readiness, and gain the confidence these children need to overcome the limitations imposed by poverty.

Over the years Felicia has been acknowledged for her fine work. Awards and acknowledgements include letters from President Obama and US congressman, Jared Huffman, and the prestigious Jefferson Award to name a few. Milagro gave Performing Stars its first grant in 2001.

Milagro Foundation is very proud of our grantee, Performing Stars of Marin and the difference Gaston is making for low-opportunity kids in Marin.
