Richard Boxer

Richard Boxer, MD is nationally recognized as a leading expert in connected health, specifically telehealth and mobile(m) health. He is a consultant to many national telehealth companies. He has written dozens of journal articles and chapters, including for the Wall Street Journal. Richard is a Voluntary Professor and Visiting Scholar (the Business of Science) at the David Geffen School of Medicine and Business of Science Center at UCLA, and Professor of Clinical Urology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Boxer was a Finalist for Surgeon General of the United States in 1997 in the Bill Clinton Administration and in 2001 was a Short-List Finalist in the George W Bush Administration. Richard was a Presidential Appointee to the National Cancer Advisory Board (1995-2002); National Board of Advisors, National Institute of Diabetes, and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (1994-1998), and US Delegate of World Health Organization. He was a Senior Advisor for Health Policy in the Presidential campaigns for Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Joe Lieberman, and Hillary Clinton in 1992, 2000, 2004, and 2008.
